Meet the Founders, Who have a hunger to feed!
Anneline and Jonathan Daniel have been together since 2014.
They are known as warriors that don’t know how to give up!
Jonathan was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2018, He has fought tirelessly to overcome his battle with Ann by his side being his greatest strength. Unfortunately, his battle has left them both with many scars as Jonathan faces many affects of the tumor since his treatments that have left him with speech impairments as well as other daily functions that we often take for granted.
In 2023 complications came to light which resulted in him having to undergo Chemotherapy, as shocking as this was to them both, they have been resilient and have continued to faithfully live out their passion to feed their local communities through the sponsorships of various people that share the same passion to help the people that struggle daily.
To the many that have encountered this power couple, they have nothing short but to say that they live by the words that they share and their humbleness to serve has been their greatest virtue.
Our Journey
While Anne and Jon have been fighting their battles, they have not forgotten the battles of those suffering in their communities. With the sponsorship from a childhood friend that moved overseas, her seed sown into the Daniel foundation was able to feed 50 people. But it was more than just the sponsorship, her seed also sparked the hearts of many others that felt inspired to serve alongside them both.
The Daniel foundation served its first meal to the community May 23rd, 2021. To date over 1500 meals have been provided to the disadvantaged.
“We didn’t just want people to assist us with funds, no!, we wanted them to understand the meaning of serving others, this meant helping us cut vegetables for the meals, pack the meals and help us hand them out to the community”. Said Anne & Jon.
The Daniel family has a vision for the Daniel Foundation to be a legacy that many generations will continue when they leave the earth. They have intentionally started this initiative and can only describe it to be a form of an infinity that has no end. They daily aim to inspire others to live out this dream with them.
